COVID-19 RESERVATION ASSURANCE POLICY

COVID-19 STATUS REPORT

High Rock Rentals is committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and safe atmosphere where our guests can enjoy Western North Carolina’s beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. We recommend you visit websites like The World Health Organization, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services for the most updated information regarding travel.

OUR APPROACH

The recent outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an unprecedented situation. High Rock Rentals is committed to remaining flexible, informed, and responsive to our guests as the situation continues to evolve. We are keeping a close eye on the situation via announcements from the CDC, WHO, and the NC Department of Health. We’re following the recommendations of these entities regarding our approach to business.

OUR VACATION ASSURANCE POLICY

Sometimes the unexpected happens. That’s why we have implemented our Vacation Assurance Policy. This policy reflects the unpredictable state of the COVID-19 situation and allows our guests to continue planning their vacations with peace of mind.

HOW IS THE VACATION ASSURANCE POLICY DIFFERENT FROM HIGH ROCK RENTALS’ USUAL RENTAL POLICY?

Under our new Vacation Assurance Policy, reservations may be “continued” or “suspended” without penalty or additional cost to you. Cancellation or “Suspension” for current reservations  will be permitted to change their stay for future dates for up to 12 months.

Dates selected may include higher rates in which the guest will be expected to pay the difference, or will be refunded the difference, if lower rates or less expensive cabins are selected.

This temporary cancellation or suspension means that the payments you made will be held as a credit toward a future reservation in the same vacation. If you aren’t sure when you will be able to continue your reservation, we will give you the time you need to reschedule.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO “CONTINUE” MY RESERVATION?

There are two ways to continue your reservation:

  • Keep your reservation as is and stay for the dates you’ve already booked
  • Reschedule your stay dates for another time up to 12 months from your current reservation.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE VACATION ASSURANCE POLICY?

If you opt to cancel your reservation entirely, our standard 30-day non-refundable cancellation policy would apply. If you choose to suspend and reserve a future stay, cancellations for the future stay are non-refundable.

WHAT IS HIGH ROCK RENTALS DOING TO KEEP ITS GUESTS SAFE?

Our standard cleaning procedures have always been above CDC recommendations. All vacation rentals are thoroughly and professionally cleaned between each stay. All linens are replaced, and at this time, our housekeeping staff is taking additional precautions to keep guests safe-including an emphasis on sterilizing high-touch surfaces. As always, vacation rental accommodations are only released for guest check-ins after a rigorous inspection process.
